Information we collect

When you call a business that uses our receptionist service, we collect the information you choose to provide on the call: your name, callback phone number, service address, the reason for your call, and any notes you ask us to pass along. Calls may be recorded for quality purposes.

How we use it

We use this information for one purpose: to deliver your service request to the business you called, so their team can follow up with you. This includes sending the business a summary of your call, logging the request for their team, and sending you a one-time text message confirming that your request was received.

Text messages (SMS program)

If you provide your callback number during a call and the receptionist announces a confirmation text, you will receive a single transactional SMS per call confirming your service request. This is not a marketing program — we do not send promotional messages.

• Consent to receive the confirmation text is not a condition of receiving service.
• Message frequency: one message per service call. Message and data rates may apply.
• To stop receiving messages, reply STOP at any time. For help, reply HELP or contact us at jamescc@echoreceptionva.com.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties or lead generators.

Sharing

We share the information you provide on a call only with the business you called, so they can respond to your request. We do not sell your personal information.

Data retention and your choices

Call details are retained by the business you called as part of their customer records. To ask about, correct, or delete your information, contact the business you called, or reach us at jamescc@echoreceptionva.com and we will assist.
